Efraïm Rodríguez
Efraïm és un escultor Valencià que fa temps que viu a Granollers. Ha treballat tant en obres personals com en encarrecs per l'Ajuntament, com el Patufet de la "Plaça del Patufet". També ha treballat per la Roca Umbert, és més, el seu taller es troba a la mateixa Roca Umbert.
La seva obra es coneguda com a reflexió sobre els objectes. Fragments i parts de materials heterogènis que son encaixats, sobreposats o engastats per estrucutrar personatges i animals que expresen les seves curcumstàncies existencials.
Reconstruccions d'acabats industrials amb un fort simbolisme, una barreja de hiperrealisme i singularitat. Monstres a escala real, que s'aproximen a la vertadera alteració com conseqüència de les asimilacions del món de la manufactura i de la fabricació.
El seu treball, en definitiva, es una constant ironía de les contradiccions entre l'artesanía i l'industrialització.

L'Exposició
Visita guiada a l’exposició “Objectes personals” de l’artista granollerí Efraïm Rodríguez al Museu de Granollers.
A partir d’una vintena d’escultures a mida natural, l’autor ens convida a transitar per un bosc personal de figures construïdes a partir de fragments, de parts que, unides, creen noves identitats i que alhora posen de manifest la sensació que els humans «no som éssers sencers».
Efraïm per aquesta obra va voler triar diferents tipos de fustas, més altres materials concrets i especials per algunes escultures en concret; com alabastre o diferents materials industrials.
Amb aquest projecte va voler parlar de la infantesa i de la joventut, tot representat per diferents figures d'infants o d'adolescents. Figures realistes que semble són èssers amb vida, tant per la perfecció dels acabats com per l'olor de la fusta.
Moltes de les obres van ser elaborades al llarg de molts anys, va utilitzar els seus nevots com a modèls.
Ens parla de les diferents situacions i vivències d'un infant i després com aquest infant acaba creixent, passant per una etapa intermitja, entre la infantesa i la vida adulta.
The permanent exhibition room
The other day we visited the permanent exhibition room in the "Museu de Granollers". There you can visit different kind of works, artist and artistc styles and all the works are from the museum, it's why the exhibition it's totally free and permanent. Some artist created the works for the museum, others give it or others created in live in the exactly room it's now expose.
The paintings and the sculptures are divided for concepts, no for styles or artists. In one grup are a big variety of works and different points of view about a single concept.
For example are the grup about mythology, others about human live or feelings...
The project we had to do was to connect three works in the room without thinking in one concepts or the style or artist. And the project was in pairs.
Esteve and I decided to connect three works of different groups with a concept that was in the room, and we liked and thought that was interesting The representation of the conflict. The three works express that concept.
The Representation of the conflict
The representation of the conflict is in the artistic history since ever. Like the orthodox battle to the modern forms of hospitality. The difficult human relation ships, the gender combat or the concept of "Me", are objects of artistic and political reflection. The art have to show the new and the old concept of conflict in our society.

Quevedo y sueño
This work of Orlando Pelayo express, to us, a kind of conflict. In the paint it seems to be a girl escaping from her home, the conflict is the problem.

That second work express for us also another representation of conflict. The forms and the colors of the brush strokes and the space their're painted seems to be a conflict between the black, with this brush strokes and the other color that it's white and was painted before the other.

And the finally one represent the conflict thats it's more present, since ever, in the relation ships and also in this battle of the differences between genders.
